Jake Almanrode as Harbour brings a unique, deep, and expressive sound to the table, combining emotive cinematic like textures and warmth with energy bursting electronic dance music progressions. Influenced heavily by future bass, trance, chillstep, and progressive genres, Almanrode executes his fully original productions using a plethora of software plugins such as Omnisphere 2, UVI Falcon, Native Instruments Komplete 11, Serum, and Alchemy.

Almanrode embarked on his musical journey with the violin at age 9, studying classical music and orchestral arrangements. Three years later he began dabbling in music production using Apple's Garageband and a simple M-Audio keyboard. Most of his early work remained private and served only to inspire the young musician to become a self-taught classical pianist by 14.

By age 17, Almanrode was obsessed with progressive and trance music and began to find a lot of inspiration within the EDM scene. After watching an inspirational YouTube performance of Hardwell, Almanrode decided to take to the decks under the name DJ Bad Pirate and began performing mainly at college events throughout the midwest and making multiple guest appearances for night clubs and lounges in the Rapid City area and Colorado foothills. Almanrode kept busy on the decks until early 2016 when he decided music production was the next step in furthering his career and recognition by larger audiences. Placing a pause on the performance scene, he began to sharpen his skills in production and mixing, investing in professional music production software, a digital piano, and midi drums. Currently located in San Jose, California, Almanrode has been making advancements in EDM production, leaning towards Chillstep, Drum and Bass, Progressive, and Vocal Trance as his primary choices/influence in genre.
